A course with nine holes. A well maintained course with mostly straight and wide fairways. The greens are small and cut roughly. And hazards are few. Sand traps lie around the greens. As such the Trivandrum Golf Club is a nice and friendly course which leaves one refreshing & soothing.
Nature is seen at her best here. Anyone making a visit to this magnificent place will have a real soothing and refreshing experience.

To save time Players are advised to play a provisional Ball in accordance with Rule 27-2 for a Ball which may be Lost or may be Out of Bounds.  
       
  Priority Rules:  
    "If a Match fails to keep its pace on the course and loses more than one clear Hole on the Players in front, it shall allow the match following to pass"  
       
LOCAL RULES  
  Fairways:  
 
a.
Fairways are defined by WHITE Stones.  
 
b.
A ball is in the Fairway, when all of it lies within the inside margin of the Stones defining the Fairway in play.  
 
c.
G.U.R. and other Free Drops are sign posted/marked.  
       
Placeing and Dropping  
 
a.
When the Player's Ball lies in the Fairway in Play, the Player may improve the Lie of the Ball by Marking, Lifting Cleaning and Placing , only bye Hand, within One Club Lenght not nearer the Hole, Once on Par 4 and Twice on Par 5 and Hole Nos 7 and 16. After so placing the Marker shall be removed and the Ball is in Play.  
 
b.
Relief can be obtained under Rule 20-2 for vacant dug up pits and those marked.  
 
c.
Relief can be obtained under Rule 20-2 for interference casued by a sapoing not taller thatn One Club Length.  
 
d.
A ball embedded in its own Pitch Mark my be Marked, Lifted and Dropped as near as possible without Penalty.  
       
Obstructions  
  The following are immovable Obstructions over and above those defined in Rule 24, Relief may be obtained in Accordance with Rule 24-2, for:  
 
a.
Stones defining Fairways  
 
b.
Pipe lines, Water hydrants and Irrigation Fixtures.  
       
Out of Bounds  
 
a.
All buildings and Roadways around the Club House and Guest House  
 
b.
The Sunken Garden behind the club House.  
 
c.
The Pump House  
 
d.
Thatched Sheds and Well  
 
e.
Outside the Compound Wall enclosing the perimeter boundary of the club
